Current and Past research Projects
Sustainable well-being COurse
I co-created this sustainable well-being course with Dr. Amy Gorniak for my dissertation project. The course combines Acceptance and Commitment Therapy principles with ecological systems thinking and positive psychology. Our pilot study showed positive results for decreasing eco-anxiety and increase hedonic well-being but null results for increasing eudemonic well-being or pro-environmental behavior.
Work on Mybestself101
Mybestself101 is a positive psychology website created by my graduate school mentor which I have worked on extensively over the last nine years. I created learning a learning module focused on nature connection and mental health and advised undergraduate research assistances on the creation of interconnectedness, flow, and interpersonal relationships modules.
Pro-environmental Science Research
In my undergraduate and graduate training I collaborated with researchers in environmental science to help author several peer reviewed papers related to pro-environmental behavior and ecological systems.
